Alberta Breeders of Award Winning Huacaya Alpacas Since 1997

Sunnyhill Alpacas are celebrating their 21st year in business, starting with a small herd of 9 alpacas they have built a quality herd which numbers over 100 alpacas. The "Sunnyhill" kids can be found throughout Canada and boast multiple showring awards.  Sunnyhill Alpacas has grown with the industry and continue to breed for quality and color. They raise both Huacaya and Suri breeding stock, which are registered with CLAA & ARI.

Sunnyhill offers a range of quality and pricing, packages are also available. Kevin & Leanne are easy going country folk, if you are new or a seasoned breeder they welcome a visit or call to talk about alpacas. At Sunnyhill they enjoy their alpacas as much as the first time they laid eyes on them.

Being nature lovers, alpacas suit them perfectly, one of their favorite pass times is sitting on our park bench in front of the alpaca pens, talking, watching and trying to find the solution to come up with the perfect alpaca. They've have come along way but they realize that their search will be forever because there is no limit to quality!! That doesn't keep them from trying!

Sunnyhill Alpacas was started because alpacas are wonderful animals, over the years they've become like children to Kevin & Leanne. Sunnyhill Alpacas works hard at their breeding program, they are aiming for good personality, fibre qualities, conformation & colour. They love their alpacas and you will too!
Kevin & Leanne are also co owners in Twisted Sisters & Company Fibre Mill, they also spent several hours volunteering at Alpaca events.
